Yoshimura YD-MJN28 Carburator body set for Honda Monkey

The "YD Carburetor" was developed by pursuing the performance of the horizontal type engine. for the first time in Yoshimura's long history, an original carburetor is finally available. The "YD Carburetor" was designed and tested by Yoshimura.

Downdraft carburetors are designed to allow the body to be mounted to the engine in a forward leaning position. This allows the distance from the center of the carburetor to the engine to be shortened, allowing the air mixture to be actively sent to the engine.

The downdraft mechanism shortens the intake pipe length and dramatically improves intake efficiency.
